I'm new and I'm getting a G35

Hey all. I'm new here. I've decided I'm getting a G35 Coupe, and I'm actively looking for one. I plan on getting an 03-06 White G35 Coupe. I'm used to working on Hondas and Acuras, so this will be my first Infiniti. I was wondering if anybody had any input on things I should look for when buying my G35 (known issues, etc)? Any input would be greately appreciated.

Also, I have 2 questions about the G35 Coupes:

1. Do the white G35's only have the tan interior? I'd rather have the black interior, but all the white G35's I've seen only have tan.

2. Do any of the stock G35's offer an auxilary audio input (3.5mm)?

Thanks!
-Rick Henry

Only the 03-04 IP had the black interior option. 05+ have a stone interior option instead. It is a more uncommon option and will be harder for you to find. Expect that it might be priced a tad higher as well.

It would have been easier if you would have searched the 10 other guys in the past 10 days that posted the exact same thing you did to get the same answers that the last 10 guys got.

Taking off the asshat now.

What you're looking for is a IP coupe. (Ivory Pearl) They only came with charcoal interiors '03/'04 and might be very hard to find. Try doing a search on line to all the Infiniti/Nissan dealerships within a 75 mile radius, who knows what you might find. Be very specific, IP coupe with charcoal interior and mileage not over 50K along with whatever your price range is....then get a CARFAX so you'll have some history. No one wants a junk yard dog.... No audio inputs in those years.

Your only options are:

A) Purchase a "Milano" which refers to the 2003/2004 Ivory Pearl Exterior and Black Leather interior.

B) Purchase an IP 2005/6/7 with the STONE interior (black dash, tan seats) and then buy the Black Leather seats from a wrecked 2005/6/7 G35 non Ivory Pearl, and swap yours out.

And also, If you can find a Milano 6speed, they also have the upgraded Brembo Brakes, which IMO are far superior to the 06/07 brakes.

I searched 2 yrs, and only found one Milano in a 75 mile radius, and the guy wanted $4K OVER Blue Book. I passed. Purchase a Charcoal grey one, and plan to repaint it a custom color this summer.
