Painting Rims with Dupli Color
I'd recommend use Montana paint. You can find it at an art's supply store or a graffiti store. IMO it's much better than the Duplicolor or other stuff. I recommended to a friend and he was happy he used it. I've used it a couple times myself. There are different series to go with so you need to know if you're looking for a matte look or gloss look.
There's nothing wrong with painting your rims with Dupli Color. They'll have to be very clean and depending on the rims masking will take some time....done right. I'd also use a clearcoat so they won't fade as quickly. Then there's chips, figure on painting them every 2 to 3 years. Or you could have them powder coated and all you'll ever have to do is keep them clean....

Nothing wrong with it, correct. But I've used just one quick coat of Montana Gold black (flat black) and no paint chips, no primer, no sanding, and it puts up well against rain, water, rocks, and other debris. had them for about half a year as well...These cans are about $5 or $6 each.
I also used the gloss black of the platinum XXL can (8.50 for a can thats 2.5 times the size of regular cans). Same thing with the Gold, no primer, nothing..not even clear coat and still no problems. There's a reason why people that do graffiti use these cans...and it's also because of the difference spray tips. There's about 15-20 different spray tips that can be used, only 40 cents each. Some are fat, for the barrels, others are thin, for the face, and others mist, for the lug holes.

I don't see what's wrong with spray painting OEM wheels with spray paint. Lots of people do it and they do it because there's no need to spend several hundreds of dollars on something they will upgrade down the line...plus you can always repaint. In my case, the wheels lasted 6 months and I sold them to someone on the Z forum.
I was about to get them powder coated but this company's asking 150 per Rim
so i'd rather Spray paint them and see if they look nice
ive seen alot of pics of the Dupli Color Rims and they look Sick!
