according to grubbs infiniti, there will only be about 311 '05 6mt sports coupes made for the first allocation nationwide!!!! Why is that!?!?!? can anyone verify or confirm if this is true? if so, you can count on paying above msrp for the '05 6mt if you can even get your hands on one: (

Yeah well I was told when shopping for my 03 that they were "rare" too. Dealer told me that they were only importing 1500 6MT's to the states then they would stop making them. We all know that was a lie! Dealers will say anything to mark up the price. Why I bought used...

According to their post on FA, 311 is the number of AT coupes with 19 inch rims. It has nothing to do with 6MT cars.

There are two posts on the subject. This one talking about the limited availability in the next couple of months, and this one talking about changes to the model designations.

Dave is correct - the 311 allocation is for 5ATs with 19" wheels. Nothing to do with 6MTs.

OOOOOPS!!!! my bad : )~ i just read the first post which didn't indicate 5at or 6mt but just sports coupe. i thought it meant 6mt sports coupes. i stand corrected. but whewwwwww, it's still good news cuz i thought i was going to have to pass up on the '05 6mt....wooohoo!!!! : )

The allocation only affects the sedans and not the coupe. So the 19'' wheels are not limited for the coupe.
