Scraped Headlight Solution?

Hey all...

I was driving along behind this YUKON on the freeway.

Then i see debris get kicked up by the rear tires and see it KAMIKAZE towards my car at a million MPH.

I hear a thud and my heart sinks.
I'm hoping at worst, it's the bumper.
I get out of my car to see that it hit the Headlight lens and left marks and scratches.

Now time to fix it. What do i use for this? I rubbed off the marks it left and only have scratches left.

I think i heard there was some kinda Scratch filler/remover?

If all else fails you could always get the headlight overlays from bluebatmobile.com. I have the tailight overlays and they look pretty cool.

BRM Catback Exhaust
Injen CAI (blue)

Re: Scraped Headlight Solution?

Question or two about those overlays...
They go OUTSIDE of the lens? or Inside of it?

just wanted to make sure..

On a side note, i'm addicted to modding my car.

I've recently bought some of Meguiar's 'PlastX' and it works wonders.
Log onto www.meguiars.com and order yourself some.
One of the best detailing gels you'll ever buy and only $5!

I second gsedanman and vote two thumbs up for PlastX ! This product is amazing - you've got to try it. If you can't find one anywhere in your area, contact Meguiars and they will ship one for free.

Good luck.

Wow, I gotta try that stuff on my scratched-up headlight! Thanks for the heads-up! Now, if I could just find something like that for actual glass; hmmm...
