03 coupe radio problems

Ok so I have the factory radio and sometimes when i start the can itll turn on but the volume will cut out. I cant get it to come back on with the steering wheel control or the unit control. Volume comes back after a few seconds or minutes sometimes and will be fine untill i turn the car off. Where should i start looking?

you should just get a JDM DD kit and your choice of headunit. seems like the stock radio is giving out.

Long story short, replace the radio with a touch screen. Looks and performs way better + ipod connectivity.
