so after jus buying my car i found this peice in the upper glove compartment and cant find where it came from thx

 

if you remove your front license plate and the holder, you'll find a square opening. That's where that piece goes.

 

but you will be left with 2 holes from the screws that held the plate frame bracket

 

Is there a part number on it? if there is, you should try googling that and see what you get.

If you live somewhere requiring a front plate, there's really no reason you'd need to keep it. I didn't have one when I bought my car b/c Illinois has dual plates (Indiana does not, thank god). Anyway, I ended up having to buy one from the marketplace. They usually go for 30-40 bucks cuz they're hard to find.

 

they do but they come unpainted. i dont really need it. have to keep my front tag on in jersey otherwise i get hassled
