clutch issues

Ok so when it is warmer outside and I am either driving in traffic like stop and go or just driving in the city a lot my clutch pressure falls half way and stays there. So instead of starting at the normal position it starts about mid way and doesn't spring back to its original position unless pulled back with my foot, but even if I do pull it back with my foot it sinks to mid way and the tension/pressure starts from that new position. After letting it sit for several hours I regain the full tension from the original position...its kinda like bubble in the line or something, but i was told if there was some kind of bubble this would be occurring all the time and not just once in a while..can anyone help me figure this out because its really annoying driving it when it occurs since the position is mid way from the original..thanx a lot

Change the fluid, change the slave cylinder, change the master cylinder, seems to be a common progression to solve the issue.

Thats weird, I was in Philly just last week and that was the first time my clutch started doing the exact same thing. I am taking it to inifiniti at the end of the month to check for leaks in the clutch.

I thought it was Philly lol...guess not.

^ if the piston is bad inside the cylinder, you are not likely to see any leaks.
