second gear issues

My G won't go into second gear after I launch it hard and bring it to high rpm, it just refuses to go into second. It just misses and revs up, I read sokeone else had this problem, is this common? Or is this something wrong or broken? Thx fellas

possible your synchros are bad... try changing the trans fluid and see if that helps

^^^your shifter can be moved in and out of gears at certain rpms, can't remember what its called, but when i drove a old pontiac sunfire and it was about to hit the junkyard i used to do it all the time. i don't think its actually that bad either as long as you do it perfectly, i don't reccomend doing it on a normal bases.
