I agree, I feel some of their pics are very deceiving. More like surface imperfections that were buffed out.

it doesnt completely fill in the chip more or less gets rid of that white spot and fills it in a bit. Still a good product though IMO

Would it be possible to fill in the chip with primer first then color it afterwards?

How-to: chip repair/wetsanding (and some obligatory polishing!)

how do you suggest going about filling the chipped area without getting the primer on the surrounding paint?

by using a tooth pic or sometimes i use a x-acto knife.
Basically, just use something really small and pointy.

and it is best to wetsand and polish after using any sort of touch up paint.
the paint wont match 100%, but after a good polish, it will be as close as it can be.

^sounds like tedious work for paint chips (especially if you have more than a few). What makes colorchips good is no wet sanding, polishing, and a perfect color match. Its so easy, your 12 yr old sister could do it.

This seems to be pretty useful and pretty handy when it comes to scratches. I need to put this product up to the test and try it for myself.
