Ebay awesomeness

The proof is in the links. I was looking to upgrade my 03-05 headlights to the 06-07 projectors. On 3/18 I won an ebay auction for a set of used projectors for $420 shipped. Did the swap and put my old '05 headlights up for sale on ebay. They sold today for $561.53 shipped. So I basically made $140 on the deal less my ebay costs and shipping costs. Just wanted to share my excitement and give everyone the heads up that the 03-05 light market is HOT!!! Overall I love my new projectors. They look better and illuminate better at night. I just wish they would have carried over the lighted strip on the side.

Projectors Won

Old lights sold

I sold my 04 lights w/ ballasts, all bulbs, painted black, and clear reflectors for $450 shipped.

You had a great sell.

dang, I'd like to meet the bonehead who paid $500+ for used '03-'05 headlights Come to think of it, OEM price of those are about $1600 for the pair, so the "bonehead" got one heck of a deal!

Makes me want to put my extra set of '06-07 up for sale for some extra cash.

I don't normally buy anything on eBay, couple months ago I found '06 projectors new/in box for less than $400 shipped. My OE headlight were in bad shape, with the exception of the ballists they're in the LA County Dump.

Nice!

A lot of people (the ones who aren't as obsessed over cars like we may be) have no idea of where to shop, where to get hook-ups, or prices to look for.

Someone could have easily gotten in an accident and needed new headlights, the options he saw where 1) pay the dealership $2000.00 for headlights, or 2) grab some on e-bay. Your average person would also have no idea that they can get the newer projector lights instead, or even know what a projector/reflector are.

good deal OP. I did the same thing, but didn't make quite as much profit on the upgrade... Love how that works sometimes.

Very good question Joker, once my projectors were installed I couldn't believe the difference. Hope my neighbors don't mind....
