If it sticks, I'd say go for it. So many people criticize ebay parts (and I can totally see why) but I've seen a number of exterior parts on a number of cars that look great for a fraction of the price.

I actually bought this spoiler from ebay and I have been very impressed. I thought the same thing about the sticky tape but it doesn't budge and it made it through one hell of a winter. The paint color is spot on and the quality is good.

My Ionic Data Systems R-Spec replica is held on with double sided tape only and I say yes to it.

OP - I have the Inven roof spoiler (pictured above) and love it.

Some people use silicone. Bad idea, IMO.

The tape can be removed and reapplied if needed. Its much easier to use than silicon and dry time is ZERO.

If the ROOF SPOILER was my thing (it's not) double sided tape is the way to go and can be removed easily just like the eye lids. Only requires time and patience which I'm lacking....

Proper tape is the key.. all STILLEN wings are shipped with pre-applied 3M double sided adhesive tape that's designed for automotive accessory parts.

Which is also used on OEM applications.. Also requires (and glass where these wings are being applied is the easiest) proper cleaning and use of adhesion promoter to ensure a good bite.

Like most things, installation is the most important..
