I know there is a wheel discussion area but it does not get as much attention as in a general area.

my question is obvious, anyone not running staggered wheel and tire setups?
ive been looking for a solution to get rid of the big heavy 20" wheels that came on my car when i bought it.
I uest to drive a 350z and ive always seen G35's and 350'z with wheels like mine that have chome lips, but im debating on getting away from that lip look


Im liking the Enkei EKM3 wheels in gunmetal, my car is black and I think it would be a good contrast. (plans to swap the grille out and debadge it)

thinking of going with 18x8 all the way around

anyone got pics of wheels similar to the EKM3 mounted on a G?

 

I can totally understand wanting to get rid of those big azz chrome 20" rims but our coupes look better with a staggered set up....my opinion! Black rims on your OB coupe will look great....stealth.

Some people say it'll throw your VDC off. But I know a few people that run non-staggered wheels/tires just fine.

That said, go wider. Why stick with 8" all around? Go 10" at least...

 

problem is with that wheel the widest width they make is 8" lol

another problem is that particular wheel only comes in a +40 offset so im gonna need to run some serious spacers all the way around, like 20mm
makes me think these wheels werent made for cars like ours (probably arent)

I like the look of staggered wheels hence i had them on my 350z, but i dont want to do bigger than 18's and staggered lipped wheels dont look as good in smaller diameters at least i dont think
