If you want the led strip light look without dumping the 06 headlights which are an upgrade and look great. Why not try something like the lights on the 2013 MB E Coupe?I personally think they would look perfect in the G grills and with proper wiring could also be a daytime running light as they are on the Benz. Think they could look really great. I have them on my 2010 E Coupe they're shaped differently because the grill openings are smaller but they look great both day and at night. They would be unique!!!

The best way to get the custom job done is how i did. GO to www. Clearcorners.com and. He completly custom my headlight to led strip clear turn signals and when you turn on the blinker they turn amber also painted the inside twilight blue for me and have an option with a loose plug to plug in side markets that he sells wich have led strips that blink with the turn signal and are white led and amber when in use .

They are called switchbacks. They cost just over 40 bucks a pair.

Was a quick response on my phone .. Should of used punctuation and fixed all sentences for you so you can easily understand my point. It was to give a lead on how to have your headlights custom with great workmanship also knowing mike aka (clearcorners) uses quality product . Been in the game long enough to know LEDs that switch from clear to amber oh wait SWITCH BACKS been around for a long time . But back on subject the work done by mike is great check it out .
