Anyone elses fender feel WARM after a few minutes of driving?

Car feels pretty warm. Not sure if this is normal on the G? But the fenders feels pretty warm to the touch.

My temp gauge sits just below the half way point after it fully warmed up. Is that normal?

Yes it's normal...as long as your temp gauge doesn't go up all the way you're fine.

Thanks.. Most cars I've driven, the temp sits at the 1/4 mark.. Not near the 1/2 mark.

Also the fenders didn't get as warm..

Got a extended warranty notice a few months ago regarding the radiator fan.. So if my fans are bad, I'll have the stealership take a look at it.

But everything looks to be normal so far.

^ I think its if you have the heat on prior it still circulates though even though its off slightly.

Yep, I get that too... Hot air is seeping into the cabin area somehow, OR the the engine just gets way too hot and the heat is being transferred into the cabin..

I noticed the G definately runs hotter than any other car ive had. Ive had hondas, chevys and fords. The G's temp gauge seems to rise to normal temp within 3-5 minutes of a cold start! My other rides could be driven for 10 minutes and still be completely cold. I think these motor's just run much hotter than most...hence the heat youre feeling...im a N00b tho ahha

Took a 2hr trip to Pechanga casino in a friends Acura Legend. And the car didn't feel hot at all.

Taking the same trip in a G, we would have to open a window or turn on the AC.

Not sure where the hot air is coming from? Maybe the VQ just puts out way too much heat... Which explains why the fenders becomes hella warm..
