HELP...Dead battery when leaving car in ACC for 5min
I had this happen twice in the past 4 months. First time I had car in acc mode with radio on for about 10 minutes, tried to start car, but battery was dead. Second time, had the wife in the car, turned engine off and left in ACC mode with radio on again for less then 5 minutes and again, battery died. Needed a jump both times.
I had the battery checked at autozone, and they said it was good to go.
Could this be a starter relay issue? Thanks in advance

This sounds very much like your battery has a weak sell or the only other possibility would be your alternator isn't working to keep the battery up to the desired level. Both can be checked by a qualified mechanic....

Haha anyway, it has to be the alternator if AutoZone said that the battery still had plenty of juice, or AutoZone could be wrong. But I would first check your alternator, this happened to my old 90 Suburban back in the day.
I've had my music blaring for an hour while detailing my car and my car started fine afterward (though I did go drive it around for a good bit after to get the charge level back up).
I'd have the battery checked again. I'm inclined to say it's a poor battery, but then again I doubt your car would hold enough charge overnight if your radio kills your battery in 5 minutes (unless you have a high-power aftermarket system and you had it turned up).
If the battery comes back good, look at the alternator. Otherwise you're gonna have a fun time checking all the electrical systems to make sure all the relays are working and not creating excess draw.
