Talking To paint or not to paint - your opinion needed!

I've had my authentic Gialla grille on my G35 for about 3 weeks now. I really like the whole "mesh grille w/ a floating emblem" shabang and I think I'll be keeping it for a long time.

It came painted in Obsidian, and I installed it as is- I figured black looks as if it's the actual finish of the grille, and wanted to save some $$ though I'm sure it'd only be around $70 to repaint it.

So what do you think? Spend the extra and paint it LR, or it looks fine as is? Do note that I have clear corners on the car now (pictured in the second pic).

Thanks!

Unless you black out the headlights, get a Nismo bumper, and some other black accents.. I say paint it red..

It doesn't look bad, but I think it'll look better painted LR and for $70 you may as well.

But as JayZ said, if you're going to be doing the black wheels, roof, headlights thing, then it may be better to just keep it as-is.

Paint the roof and the rear diffuser balck, leave the grill how it is, and you'll be ballin. Please don't add black wheels to the plan, that's too much black IMO.

Tough one for me. It does kind of look good against the red of your car (unique), but as others have said.. you could do with some more matching black.

Don't know..

Hope that helps.. *laughs*

If you're not going to go with any more of a black theme, then paint it, otherwise leave it black.

HAHA, the only thing the members above didn't suggest was a complete color change LR is a great color, paint the grille LR and enjoy!
