Hello all,
I just purchased an 06 6spd coupe, and love it. I am however having an issue with the alarm going off in the morning. It doesent matter where it's parked, if it's locked the alarm sounds. It was roughly 5 am. I disconected the battery to see if it would reset something, but it went off at 1:00 am instead. The dealer has no idea what would cause this. I would like to be able to lock my car again, so any help is greatly appreciated.

 

I'm assuming this is the factory alarm?

 

Yea I believe so. No extra wires to be found and factory keyfob.

 

i have the same ******* ISSUE.. went to dealer and they hooked it up to the CONSULT III and said the door plungers are bad. and i needed new sensor... imma see if that fixes it.. if not we gotta have a group letter and send it to infiniti and have them solve and fix the issue.. oh yea i got 06 coupe 6mt also

 

Well WTF??!! Please let me know if that fixes it, I gotta handle this problem. It even blew out one of my hors probably from honking all day while I was at work(bet the neighbors loved that). Is it that it goes off at the same clock time, or the same amount of time after you lock it? Or is it all just a coincidence that it happens around the same time??

i have no clue.. mine goes off sometimes in the day time but mostly real late at night... freaking pisses me off... so to temporally fix it i just pop the trunk and leave it closed but not shut.. by doing that the alarm doesn't trigger..

i will let u knw if the new door plunger switches help
