Warranty Question

I have had my G35 for a little over two years now. When I bought it I bought an extended warranty that was 6 years or 100K miles for power train. I have 75000 miles on my car and I believe there is something major wrong with my transmission. When on any kind of incline and I try to go in reverse it slips a lot, though that is the only gear and situation that I notice anything. My question is I had the 30K mile service done by Infiniti, but I did not have the 60K mile service done and if I take it in under warranty for my transmission can they not honor the warranty because I did not get the 60K service done? Thanks

I don't think there will be a problem with the warranty.

fishert16,
First and foremost, you need to read up on what is covered under your extend warranty. I assumed you purchased the Infiniti Elite Extended Warranty Plan. In that case, I don't believe there should be a problem. To be on the safe side, contact any Infiniti representative and ask them. On a side note, I don't get my car service at Infiniti. They rip you off. I do take my car to Infiniti when a non-maintenance issue occurs which is free under my Elite Extended Warranty.

I too do all the maintenance myself. My entire intake/exhaust systems and suspension were replaced with aftermarket and I'm still covered under warranty. That is why I'm sure you will not have an issue.
