Rear passenger seat back loose
Rear passenger seat back loose
Hi everyone,
So I was getting this rattle from the rear of my car. I thought it was that rattle issue from the back pillar. But I was back there just now to get a closer look and discovered that the entire back for the rear seat is actually loose. The left hinge is on tight, but the right hinge is loose. I felt around there to figure out if I can reach the bolt to tighten it, but can't quite figure it out. Do I need to remove the seat bottom and the inside trim to get to it?
Thanks!

Nevermind. I just took a chance and gave the seat bottom a good tug. The FSM was vague at best and there were a couple other threads that said to just pull.
The two screws holding the driver side hinge were both a little loose. Strange though, even though the driver side was loose, it sounded a lot like the rattle was coming from the passenger side. Also, I noticed that the latch has a little give that could also possibly rattle.
Hopefully this fixes the loudest rattle I was having back there.
