Ok so i might have an OC issue but havent confirmed yet. So that said im thinking of rebuilding the motor. If the cylinders are ok then ill stay with the factory size pistons. If not then bore it out and go over size, High compression either way since ima keep it NA.

Since im only rebuilding the block I figure ill need:
Pistons/rings
rod/main bearings
gasket set

Labor is gona be free except if i have to bore it out. How does that sound so far? Anything else i should add?

Theres a link so u can get an idea of what some of the parts would cost. I was thinking of using the weisco high compression pistons. For sure though id be calling a good tuner shop to see what all i would need and the pros/cons etc... I think the cost of labor is what kills on most rebuilds. But my boys at the shop i go to are very very good at what they do so i trust them. Other than the required baerings and gaskets I might also throw in a JWT cam. I dont want the set up to be complicated. Simple and efficient.
