can 06 pass seat motor work for 03 driver motor

ive got the dreaded seat prob like many others, picked up an 06 passenger seat. w/ the 4 way switch. possible fix for my 03 coupe driver seat? im gonna work on testing everything to narrow it down tom. thought i'd check and see if it were doable or if anyone else has tried - the motors dont appear to differ much (if any). thanks - seth

the motor works. i reassembled everything. however, im NOT getting power to the switch. motor will run with direct electricity. somewhere between the switch and motor connectors im losing power. ALL fused have been checked as well.

(seat is in the most rear position, i cant drive it long distances that far back and currently it is sitting in my garage. any help to get it workin so i can get back on the road GREATLY appreciated. im no electrician - any suggestions or thoughts.
