=)

Just got back from running around a little bit, playin with the car as much as possible and I have to say.....

The car is a f'n beast now. Crawford Headers and Injen SES are finally on. My mechanic told me he had a lovely time with the headers (and if I ever sell the car) and told me he's not converting it back to stock. Hehe. Ok seriously... on to the fun...

Sound: Well, I turned the key for the first time and was speechless. The car sounds NOTHING like it did before. Not at all. The exhaust note is incredibly deeper. I've had a few "it sounds more like a mustang V8 now." I've heard cars with just the Injen SES (stock cats, stock headers) and the difference is as big as night and day. The car sounds mean. Period. I dont care if you love American V8's, exotic screaming engines, or the bumble bee special, this car just sounds flat out mean. The somewhat "high pitched" scream of the car after 5.5K is gone, it just sounds deep and mean all the way through. The point I'm trying to make, I'm blown away by how friggen mean the car sounds. Yes I've said mean enough now... thank you.

Performance:

As to the "true duals rob low end tq" Pardon my french, My ***. I can't even begin to describe the difference between my car 2 days ago and today. The car does feel much more rev happy now, and it has power every where. On the way home I threw the car into 3rd @ 60 next to a BS G35 coupe (route 18 in NJ if that was anyone on the boards) hoping to get atleast a smile or thumbs up, he just cut traffic off and flew around me so oh well. Guess he wasnt a fan =( Anyway, I was thinking of supercharging for weeks now, debating the pros and cons of going boosted. I dont want to anymore. The car feels much faster than it did stock and I'm more than happy with it. Normally, I do huge write ups but I'm still to in awe of how much differnt the car truely is. Alot of people have said "all the bolt ons you can put on this car dont really do that much" Well, I dont agree. When I first got my car, I got smoked by my friends bolt ons LS1 Z28. I took a friend for a ride who is constantly in both cars and he goes "Um... you two need to race again because this feels identical" My thanks to Doug at Crawford if he reads theses boards, because he has truely helped me make my G exactly what I've wanted in terms of performance. Do I recommend these two parts? Well, the quality of both is second to none. The headers looked more like works of art when I took them out of the box. The Injen SES was flawless, perfectly shined at every point, beautiful weld job on it as well (almost gives that Titanium rainbow effect on the cans because the welds were so well done) Only thing that scared me was the Injen is oiled throughout for some reason, so my first WOT run I blew out blueish smoke, but I found out its perfectly normal.

I've been thinking about doing a clutch/flywheel package now, but am quite clueless as to whats good and whats not. I'll be shopping around for a month or so, but any input you guys have would be great as to this subject. As for any other questions, Ill be glad to answer them (as long as I'm not out driving =P )
