Pure power go for Motordyne or if you don't want that you might as well go X02 if you only care about power, it makes the same as HKS and is a lot cheaper. But really your gains are so small you better love the way your exhaust sounds and like the look if you are going to even bother changing it.

I've said this before and will say it again...

Someone show me a dyno proving gains with the HKS.

Example, Motordyne.

To the OP, I'd spend a few hundred more for Motordyne. It's made in the US, excellent service, and the owner posts here on the forums. You have the ability to choose from different configurations, run test pipes WITH a HFC and most of all, dyno proven.

X02 has been dyno proven and since the design was taken from hks essentially, you can argue it makes equivalent gains. I'm not saying it makes more than MD, but for the lack of substantial difference in power you might as well choose hks if you like the sound of it much more than MD.

Yeah I know, that was me that posted the dyno in that thread so I know it makes gains. The point I was trying to make is...to prove the gains of the HKS over Motordyne. Still, to this day, nobody has posted an actual dyno of the authentic HKS but people still claim that it makes gains without solid proof. I wouldn't use the posted X02 dyno as an acceptable dyno for the HKS. The X02 uses different diameter piping, has a useless H-pipe with a 1/2 hole and obviously, different resonators and mufflers.
