I haven't seen anybody try to sell the HKS based on its performance. In fact most of the time people advocate the HKS is for looks, build quality, and unique sound. Those were the reasons I bought mine, and those are the reasons I'd recommend it to anybody looking for a nice exhaust.

Like you said, it's pretty amazing that after all of these years I have not seen a single before/after dyno write-up on the HKS. As far as I know it doesn't give you any power.

HKS is my first choice b/c i have one, but id go with MD as my 2nd choice
b/c MD makes awesome stuff

Well i can get a deal on an HKS system from my guy at home when i get back. So HKS then Motordyne is what it looks like for me. Damn u g35...

who makes the art pipes? Motordyne? but test pipes are illegal!! i dont feel like switching the test pipes out every year for my state inspection and smog

haha true beebs but damn $660 for some test pipes!! DAMNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN. does anyone have the art pipes with an hks exhaust? id love to hear it!

+ with test pipes do you have that exhaust fume smell all the time?

yeah you have the fume smell all the time.

But with Motordyne Shockwave DUAL.. you can ADD a CAT accessory to XYZ if running TPs!!!

can HKS and Fast Intensions do that? nope.

the unpolished pipes are cheaper
