I have an 04 coupe and a buddy of mine noticed my 3rd brake lights flickers and now its completely out.

Any idea on how to fix this? The entire light is LED so i guess i would have to order a brand new light. I just hope it's not expensive.

 

happened to mine, I took it to the dealer and they changed the entire light w/o a charge... oh, I still have the warranty...

 

Bump, I would like to know a DIY on this as well.

 

last time I went to tint my windows, I saw this guy did this
1. fold down ur back seat so it's easy to do it
2. pull out toward you the third brake light unit
3. unplug it and replace the new one...

 

do you have a coupe or a sedan?

had the same thing happened to me. just took it to the dealer and they fixed it because it was under warranty. good luck! it was a 1hr fix.
