Installed 5/16 Spacer... Review
I wasn't all that impressed with mine either. I reset the computer and I didn't feel a noticeable difference. Maybe I can feel a very slight difference but it also could be a placebo effect. However I wasn't expecting to notice a difference without a real dyno to prove it. I know its a good product and I'm sure its doing what they claim. -03 6mt
I had an 05 350z auto and I went through the list of bolt-ons and I can tell you what the problem is. You're expecting to much. For the people on here that say they felt a huge difference with any mod (intake, exhaust, mrev2, spacer), I would say its in your head. Yes they will make a few more whp on the dyno but it isn't even as much difference as running on a cold day would make. you need to stop buying boltons if you aren't happy with their performance and put some sort of FI on the car. I am telling you this from experience. And even then 350-400whp becomes "not all that you had hoped it would be"
Well to bring it full circle here... ((Note; not expecting dramatic gains from any of these mods - a noticeable gain yes in the SOTP))
I installed the JWT Popcharger yesterday and Z tube. Now the car is completely different. Duh, it sounds louder and boyracer genes want me to believe the gains are humongous brah - 'it sounds supercharged yo' and all that.
Realistically, the cars throttle response and actual downshifts are a lot faster - no BS. The tip in is quick now. And the tach certainly moves faster... Increased HP!?! (It's like naws son! - joking.) I am pretty certain the spacer requires upgraded intake flow for benefits, the stock units 'water drain/resonator' certainly interrupts flow. The Z tube and open air filter certainly increase it. Dyno aside, the popcharger makes the car feel stronger with the spacer.

I had my mechanic do all of that together including MD MREV2 and, the car felt waaayyy lighter. If you have the $$$ do F.I. hi-flo cats and you'll really love the sound. I also did a full catback but it seems that does the least for the car. Glad to hear you're now happy with your car.
