As greys go, that GT-R's a nice one. Plus you keep it in the family.

My father owns a paint shop here in NJ... I'm actually getting my G painted next week. Anddd I think we have similar tastes- I also have a DG coupe and I'm going for a darker color. The nicest one I've seen so far is a charcoal metallic color we sprayed on a Packard a couple of days ago:

That dark charcoal gray looks good but we drive cars that want to be noticed and that black cherry is more to my liking....it "POPS" big time!!

Haha, yeah that crimson is pretty banging.. I'd go with a slightly lighter shade though, like a merlot pearl.

Speaking of colors that POP though, here are a couple. Not to my taste at all, but maybe someone is into this kind of thing.. The vette was actually sold in that color in '76.. just threw a new coat on.

Hey, there's a difference between a color pop and getting "Girley" LOL

Haha well I said that kind of thing isn't to my taste... lighter colors tend to make japanese cars look cheap, in my opinion. As for being girly, it depends on the car... you can get away with crazy colors on an old (especially historic) car.

lol i'm with ya... also, keep in mind that unless you've already accounted for this, you'll want to paint the door jambs and underbody of the hood/engine compartment if you're doing an extreme color change. This costs a lot extra at most paint shops because the car needs double the booth time, and the interior must be masked...
