interior switch led’s

I was irritated with the led’s in my heat switches being out, so i take them apart and pop em back together and presto they work again! on a side note, i do need new ones for the driver door. i’m heavily considering swaping over every led on the interior to blue or lime green led’s in everything. know where i could pick some up? just the factory ones will do for now tho! thanks in advance.

eBay. Just type in the bulb size number followed by the word "led".

your gauge cluster is a size 74 for 03-04's. the a/c control buttons are all plcc-2 with a combo of some 0805 leds.

I was literally just thinking this about my led's in my seat heater switches being out. I took the console apart and have the toggle switches out where I can mess with them but I can't figure out how to take it apart any further. I don't want to just pop the actual switch that you touch off for fear of breaking it. Any advice on what you actually did in terms of taking them apart? I can try to post pictures later if need be. Thanks

well if you just take the switch apart its easier than it sounds. two release clips from the console for each switch. then release the 2 on the switch that hold the top on bottom portion of the switch together. do it slowly, very slowly as there are free moving pieces that will move it you arent careful (make sure the bottom part is in a level position when you pull the switch housing apart) then there are two pieces, the led in black, and another one green i believe? on top you will see the led bulb. i just popped mine off made sure they were on the correct way and popped it back together. hope this helps. if you get me pics i can prob help you better. i dont have a camera or i would take pics of mine for you! GL!

Thanks for the tip, I will take some pictures to send to you this evening if I can. Its supposed to rain so might not be able to. I don't want to mess with it until I know that I am doing it right. I have the whole console taken apart anyways doing some cleaning of a soda that got spilled on my shifter and replacing the clock bulbs on the dash.
