It needs to have a shine to them... right now, it kinda looks like you used black spray paint.

Trust me, in person, the paint is spectacular! I chose a flat black with a 20% gloss, I personally do not like shiny black wheels, but once again, that is my opinion!

That makes TOTAL sense, my wheels have A LOT more definition in person, I cannot get any pics to show the contrast you speak of!

It is weird that all us humans have differing opinions! I like black wheels on a white or real light car, but do not like black wheels on a black or real dark car!

I, for one, LOVE the look - it is totally different than what everyone else is doing and I think the smoked sides/tails compliment the look very nicely - it definitely looks mean... I would just recommend a small drop to make it a little more aggresive and maybe some wheel spacers - but for the stock wheels, it looks pretty damn good!

I bet you if those were black TE-37's people would be all over your nuts!

I think they look awesome, but you def. need a drop. I'm actually considering powdercoating my BBS's black but w/ a little more gloss. How much was it per wheel & what prep work did you have to do before you dropped them off?

Look at it this way mate...you've generated a ton of interest, a 55 post thread and i commend you. If you like it, like i originally said, then you should be happy mate. Actually I'm loving it more & more..lower it and have a car that's beautiful too you mate.
