Need Feedback on your window motor replacement
I had my drivers door window motor replaced this past Monday.
I'm not sure, but it doesn't seem to lower as much at all like the original....
At times it almost seems like the back of the window is lowering slightly more than the front, like its almost cocked, and it lowers maybe a total of 1/8" If I push down on the window, it will lower about another 1/4"
Compared to my passenger door window, which lowers at least 1/4-1/2"
Anyone have this problem on your new replacement motors?
I think I should take it back and have them look at it again. I'm afraid if I open my door real fast, it will definitely catch the top molding of the car.....This is a real PITA........
Thanks

Re: Need Feedback on your window motor replacement
Same thing for me. It barely drops down, but far enough so that it doesn't touch the molding. It's the second time they've replaced this motor ... or is it the third time?? I lost count. What sucks is that I have 40K miles already, so I won't have warranty for much longer. I hate to think about paying to replace a motor when the warranty expires

Yep. The original never went down as far as the passenger, now it barely even moves at all. Kind of very irritating that I didn't check it before I left the dealer.
