So i smashed in the back of someone late night 11APR. Insurance estimate was around 7K. Got a new hood, headlights, bumper, and some other stuff. Heres a few pics to hold you over until tom afternoon when i pick up the final product.
When the hood came i wasnt sure if id like it on the car but i think it flows kinda nice now that its painted.
I also added a nifty shifty boot, new shift ****, plenum spacer, and underdrive pulleys, and some eyelids.
In the next months ill be adding a drop, rear spacers, new rubber, and either HF cats or test pipes. I guess its coming along.

 

Idk if I like that hood yet but I'd like to see the finished product.

yea like i said im kinda undecided on the hood until i see the finished product. they MIGHT be done with it this afternoon but im not gonna get my hopes up.

 

Not so sure on the hood, but the bumper is many times better than before!

Not feeling the hood, but if you like it after its all back together then that is what is important. Don't change it on our accounts. I do like the front bumper a lot though. thats going to look great

Nice, I am also not the biggest fan of the hood.

 

On the fence with the hood but that is my favorite front bumper...

just went by and checked on it again before they closed. they had some trouble with the side marker lights not fitting, still not perfect.they got the headlights in, and painted the the scoops on the bottom black.
whats left for tom is putting the mesh(black) on the scoops, painting the grille black and installing it. should be out by noon. i cant effin wait, its been like 7 weeks since i dropped it off.
i dont really know what direction to go with the hood if i dont like it. id have to sell this one or just trash it and eat the money i paid for it. anyone think a CF hood would go nice on a silver car?
