I was thinking of getting a G35 Coupe 6MT. The one I've seen on the lots have that titanium colored console. I really don't like how it looks and am afraid that I would scratch the crap of it.

While flipping thought the brochure, they show dashes without the titanium console. What determines weather the car is going to have the titanium trimmings? Car type? Navigation Systems? Intererior Color?

 

I feel that both trims are equally easy to scratch. I have had a loaner sedan with the reg trim and that was torn up from other people. It all depends on how careful you are in your car(others too). I think the trim comes with the premium package. I'm not sure though.

On the sedan, the titanium center-console comes with the Sport-tuned Suspension Package. On the coupe, I believe it's the Performance Tire and Wheel Package -- Infiniti's website lists "additional titanium-tinted interior trim" as part of this package.

Probably not unless you pay extra to purchase the black trim from the parts dept. and the labor to have the dealer swap it out for you after it arrives.

I felt the same way about the titanium console when I first purchased my 6MT Coupe. After awhile, it really grew on me. Now I prefer it over the black.

Give it awhile. Maybe the titamium will grow on you.

I had exactly your reaction, only more violent. I'm not sure you can get a MT without the Casio trim. If you get an AT and forego the Wheels package, you can get the matte black console (assuming graphite interior). That's alot of performance stuff to give up though. Really stupid decision by Infiniti to package that all together. Depending on how much you want to spend, you can either try to order replacement parts or use one of those "sticker kits" out there that have been cut to fit the G to cover it up.

2) PM Me
3) we will do an even trade, your titanium trim for my black one. Make the both of us happy!
