hey all! its been a long day at work and i had alot of thinking to do. im thinking im prob looking at around $3.5k to fix my car so I can atleast sell it when im done. keep in mind i dont want to put airbags back in because i heard theyre like 1k each so if anyone knows where i can buy a steering wheel and dash without would be much appreciated. to answer some questions...

no insurance at all, even liability was expensive. and the airbags did nothing besides ruin my car.they did not touch my body at all. how useless!!

where are you guys getting these figures from? 10k 15k? A bumper, hood, grill, headlights, and 2 fenders really cost 15k? I'm thinking more like $4000 MAX.

 

This is what my car looked like when I got T-boned (not my fault) from another car that was going 45 MPH..It didn't look bad but I was wrong. It was 18k in damage. The whole quarter panel was replaced as well as numerous pieces of inner skin, sub-frame and other parts..I took it to my friends body shop and they did a fantastic job on my car. It drives like it was never hit, no issues. And if you think the damage on your car is only 4K, you got another thing coming even if you want to take shortcuts. I also think that you are just playing dumb and acting like we are bullsh1tting you. I think you just posted up your car and wanted to get a reaction out of us so you can say that everyone on here is a douche bag.

THE CAR IS TOTALED OUT.... a salvage yard would buy it as a parts car.... thats about it. The fender is pushed way up over the hood line meaning the LF rail is all bent to pi$$. Im sure the pass side is too. If you think slapping a few pieces of new sheetmetal on is gonna fix the car you must be braindead.

i think that is at least $8000 damage. the car is salvaged....
frame has to be pulled, need new radiator support, new radiator, maybe AC component, new headlights, fenders, hood, air bags, air bag ecu...etc

 

I doubt it'll get to 10K, but it will most likely go well over $6K. You forget that there are damaged items below the body panels. Also, not replacing airbags is VERY illegal ( going to jail illegal ), especially if you sell the car and the other person finds out. Plus, you'd be a bigger idiot than you already are.

 

Dude you're an idiot for not having insurance. But for those of you asking him how can he not afford insurance when he is driving a 40K car. Please our cars are not 40K
anymore.
Most of the G's on here now are about 12-20K and it's almost ricer price
