Time for New Tires...which size?
Thanks for the pics, looks good! I can see the rears tires are bulging out just a little bit (very minor) which doesn't seem like such a bad thing as this should help w/ wheel curbage (my fiance drives the car a lot so this would be a plus, lol). Btw, are you running spacers? If so what sizes? Your wheels have that flush fender look that I'm after. Also, how long you been running this setup?
Actually not running spacers, although I think they would look better (probably 20mm). I've had these tires for just under a year now (9730 miles on them) with no visible wear on them what so ever (made sure I had the tow front/rear set to zero to help the wear on them, although there is still a fair amount of factory camber in the car). I've taken them on several long road trips (1200 mi/2800 mi) and I've been happy with the ride/road holding characteristics of the 245 & 275 widths.
I am loving my hankook V12's..I have had them on for about a year now and they grip very well in wet and dry conditions...yeah the sidewall maybe a little soft but IMO a very good tire overall...cool tread pattern too..
245/40/19 in the fronts. when i need new front tires ill be going with 245/35/19 for the fronts
Thanks for the pics! Why would you go w/ the 245/35 instead of the 245/40? Are you riding at stock height? I would think the 245/40 would have less fender/tire gap at stock height than the 245/35?
Because 245/40/19 is too tall for the front (may interfere with the traction control and make the light come on). 245/35/19 are just a bit shorter than stock, but a closer match. Ideal would be 235/40/19, but hardly anyone makes that size, it is just a tiny bit taller than stock.

That's good to know that you haven't had any probs out of the VDC w/ these sizes.
I have finally decided what sizes to run
I'm thinking about going w/ the 245/35/R19 front and 255/35/R19 rear in the Hankook's. Anyone have any objections? I guess I will check w/ tirerack and discounttiredirect to see who has the cheaper prices...anywhere else have them cheaper?
