Have about $500.00 to spend.. what to get?
theyll make your 18's look good!! and im getting 20mm front 25mm rear some people go 25 all around some go thirty. i want my rears jutting out more so id go with 20 front 25 rear. and theyre ichiba spacers
Unless your wheels are super messed up, don't powder coat them, waste of money IMO.
Shlam your car to the ground; I did it, and it still brings a wide smile to my face when I look back at the car walking away from it/toward it.
Otherwise, plenum spacer + sway bars; both of these mods you will definitely notice a difference.

So I am leaning towards the spacers.. Anyone have a pic or pics of one with stock ride height on the 6MT with spacers and stock rims?
Thanks
edit: Found a pic and someone in the thread said that with 25mms they rubbed really bad

Don't paint OEM wheels black. Loos cheap and everyone knows it OEM wheels.
You can find this all this stuff used and stay within your budget if you look hard enough.
Spacer- More power
Test Pipes- More power
Springs- Better looks

Unfortunately he is. Gs are pretty pricy to fix up in my honest opinion. Since you're leaning towards more appearance than performance. I'd said spend some money and read up some research and do a DIY with your headlights. Total cost would be somewhere around 200-250 for the materials and about 15-20 hours of work depending on how handy you are. Start doing things a little bit yourself that's the best suggestion I can give to ANYONE that's starting with a new car. Start working around your car YOURSELF, you'll find every single small mod delightfully tasteful.
If you don't wanna go through that. I know someone that does headlight job in Texas you would have to send your headlights to them for a several days but they do legitimate work. Since you already got clear corners on the way I would say probably besides an retrofit for your headlights get some LEDs and swap out all the amber lights that you have in your car. That will make the whole car look much updated. $500 isn't a small amount but not if you want to fix up a G, that is barely enough to wipe that big azz of your G. Like I said, do something small cosmetically yourself and save up for the big toys. Couple things you may wanna consider since you're looking for more of 50/50 on the appearance and performance. I would go..
1. Coilovers, camber kits = $2000 should do
2. Wheels, depending on what it is it can range from $2000-$3500
3. Exhaust, some nice burn tip exhaust would look money if you have the right stance with the right fitment with the right wheels
4. Test pipe, plenum spacers, grounding kit, maybe an oil return system to add a little bling look.
5. Force induction/ widebody - this may not be necessary as most of the people don't plan on going that way unless you're going to make a show car.
Plan carefully, spend wisely. Have fun modding.

U can do most of that stuff all for $500.
1. cut ur stock springs , bam slammed to floor, that cost liek nothing
2. Paint ur grill and rims ur self, walmart has all the spary paint u need for cheap!
3. go to a junk yard. u can prob find 06 projects lyin around somewhere.
4. Get a bunch of decals and slap'em on ur car. everyone knows that each decal ads liek 5 HP each!
