amber bulbs with the JDM clear side markers?

Just got my JDM clear side markers in and was wondering why they give you amber bulbs with them? Won't that look ridiculous when its on the bumper with those bulbs?

Because that's what's legal...?

If you wanna get rid of the egg yolk look and keep the amber lighting, though, you can DIY or buy some dipped bulbs.

........you can hardly see the amber bulbs inside your clears. You don't need to use the amber bulbs but save them, when you get a ticket for using anything else but amber. That's pretty much the law nation wide like Calvin mentioned!

I went LED and like it. I just wish I didn't live in such a conservative town in Blacksburg va. Just a lil scuurred that I might get a ticket for those and not having a bracket for my front plate(like im gonna drill into my bumper)...
