I was walking towards my car the other day and I noticed one of my tips sticks out more than the other. I think the right exhaust tip sticks out less than the left one.

1) is this normal?
2) is there an easy adjustment to fix this?

 

Somebody probaly reversed into a curb and your exhaust must of got bent a little

 

hey good point! i dont know why i didnt think of that. i just bought the car off a friend so that is possible. is there any easy way to determine that? i'm assuming there's no way easy to adjust it back. I'm kind of looking for an excuse to buy a nismo exhaust here for myself anyway -- especially since i just accomplished something pretty big and I think a reward is in order.

 

Buy a new exhaust !!

 

mine is like that a little too. previous owner backed over a concrete parking pyramid thingy.

 

anyone got a spare stock exhaust in so cal?

 

mine's barely noticable so i'm not too worried, but if i could find a used nismo exhaust that has perfectly lined up tips i'd probably go for it. TofuProductions, werent you looking to trade yours for a Fast Intentions or something?

 

i like the nismo as well.

 

Next time your cars on the rack getting her oil changed, check to make sure all the exhaust system hangers are on correctly. Those donut hangers being off/misalligned could make an inch difference or so....

just go head w/ the nismo - I’m a big fan of ARK love the sound guy i know has it on his 350z sounds great - i’m getting one for the G when ever i come across a couple extra bucks
