My power steering pulley has been squealing for a while when I start up, goes away after running for about 10 minutes. Looking into replacing it, wondering if anyone else has had this problem and how difficult this was to replace, and whether this solved the problem. Just for reference and so I don't get a bunch of comments, I have already checked and tightened the belt, and the belt is only a year old. Almost positive the sound is coming from the pulley.

 

I highly doubt its the pulley making noise but more like the belt tensioner bearing is going bad.

 

I agree with superchargedg, doubt its your pulley.

Pulley is integrated with shaft and requires complete pump disassembly. I'm going to have my pulley chrome plated in near future and looked into what is necessary to remove pulley.
