Car says exterior temp is -22 degrees and now the air wont work????

I think the ambient temp sensor is bad but im not sure ive unplugged it nad messed with it a bit but coming back on my trip from fla the the dash temp said the weather outside was -22 when i was like 95 it slowly dropped from 95 to -22 and now just sends in humid heat constantly. Every now and then it would jump back to 60 and drop when i wasnt under 20 i would have full a/c. Has anyone encounterd this problem??? Now its just constantly at -22 and no ac just constant heat which fogs the windows. Im not really sure what to do any help would be awesome

my ac messed up 3 times and all 3 times it was the stock cd player.... i found that if you hit the cd player real hard it fixes it until u replace the headunit.... but my outside temp nvr changed.. my ac would either be full blast cold(60) or hi heat(90) and couldnt change it...

maybe the outside temp sensor is going bad.

It happened on my SAAB and the outside temp would show 0 and the AC was blowing heat. I replaced it and all was good after that.
