black bra availability

To this point I am not aware of a vinyl bra being available for the coupe other then thru Infinity (overpriced and I believe may have polyester backing which is more likely to scratch the paint... cotton is preferabe). StrictlyZ has told me that they have made a coupe available to Colgan to make a pattern and they hope to have availability by the beginning of May. Pfresumably at their standard price of $89 for leather grain or $99 for carbon fiber look.

Re: black bra availability

It's not polyester it's cotton or cloth and it doesn't scratch the paint.

Re: black bra availability

I suspect any vinyl type bra you put on will eventually mark the paint where it straps to the car. Those types of bras shouldn't be left on permanently or driven with them wet. It may have the aesthetic appeal but you'll find it a chore to put on/off. You should seriously consider a clear bra, a transparent film/sheet that's adhered to the front/leading surfaces. It's more expensive but doesn't hid the lines and curves of the front. It's purely for protection of the paint and lights. You might try a search here for 'clear bra' for other member's comments. ...dean

Re: black bra availability

Here's my concern with the clear bra.....does it show up pits where rocks and debris have hit it? Plus, does it have any side effects related to the waxes or does it "cloud up" with UV ray exposure or wax chemicals/ car wash detergents?
I guess what I am asking in a Nutshell is, has anyone used a clear bra for an extended time?
