Because in America its not needed, we have huge parking spaces most of the time. In japan, the streets are very narrow and parking is very tight, so it requires you to fold your mirrors to squeeze in.

Yep. Don't want to scrape your mirror off on the side of a wall or someones car.

Anyway. Cool pictures! I'm curious about the power/snow function on a g35 as well. I know what they do, just not sure why only some G's would get that option, and not all of them?

that last pic with the "power, a/t, snow" button looks like its rhd... i hope you take no offense, but glad to know there are "mentally challenged "out there as well who don't know how to "properly" mod their g's... that red one with the aston martin front says it all...

theres actually a spot for it on my 03 coupe (and im sure other years as well) right around the shifter theres a slight outline where the power/snow button would be if we had it in america - which i dont know why we dont or the power mirrors. we kinda got skipped over by infiniti usa & international

the few inches that you save from pulling the windows in... I dont see how that would be enff for people to get out of the car if its THAT tight,

mabye us american are just too fat( even the normal sized ones)

id like to see a vid where if it was that tight, how do you get out? out of the window? lol

you misunderstood the main purpose of the "folding mirrors".. it was meant to give space for people who walk between your parked cars.. parking there is tight, that if you have 2 cars parked next to one another, you cant squeeze in between to get thru.. i've lived in asia before and people would just fold their mirrors before they leave.. i've seen it and done it..

Interesting. I think I'll take a peek when I get in my car next time ( I do have some faint recollection of what you mentioned though..)
