Remote Start On Manual?

So I have purchased a Viper 5901 Alarm System which should arrive in a week. I am debating right now whether I should have remote start installed. If you have manual and remote start do you even use it? I mean I leave my car in gear every single day. Is it worth it or not? Or I should just save my money? Would it be even cheaper if I choose not to get remote start installed? I know I wouldn't need to get a transponder bypass.

I have that unit. I never leave my car on gear, but the remote start works great. The only thing is, the actual remote is a battery hog. It definably helps on those hot or cold days. The car is warmed up in the winter, and in the summer, the car is cooled with the AC being on.

If leaving it in gear is a habbit, don't install it because you'll watch your car jump every-time..lol. If you think you can get out of the habit, then do it.

Yea but I live in California and I am one of those people that don't care if its hot or cold outside so I guess I shouldn't install it then.
