just bought a g35 couple coilover questions

like it says just picked up an 05 coupe..

about to order some coilovers...nothing special for track just street use...

dont want the most expensive cause money is a lil tight right now but dont want junk either...something from the 800-1000 price range..

was thinking about just going with the tein basics...

any input would be great..

I'm not an expert either. The Tein basics aren't much stiffer(front:503lbs/rear:503lbs) then OEM and are cheap. BC's are cheap as well but I don't know how stiff they are.

As long as you can read this you'll have an idea how stiff some coilovers will be compared to your current suspension:
Oem linear springs
G35 coupes 2005/2006 with oem 19’s only
350Z 2004.5 to 2006 (revised suspension)
Front:314 Rear:427

I have BC Racing coilovers 8k/10k. They rattle a bit in the rear but I've had them for about 2k miles now and overall I've been very happy with them.

BC's or Function&Forms are gonna be your best bet in that price range.

I'm very happy with my function & form type II's. You can slam your car to the floor, 32-way adjustable dampening, and they're in that price range.

Project Kics, Ichiba and H&R are all good brands. Do NOT get ebay brand spacers, it's not worth the risk.
