Transmission Fluid Flush?

I recently got my oil changed at mr.lube, and the guy says my car needs to have the transmission fluid flushed. I have 37,000 miles, and was just wondering if this is around the time i should flush it? i don't have my owners manual anymore so i don’t know what infinity recommends. I know these kind of places always try and tell you that you need some extra work done to your car, but i just wanted to know if any of you have done a transmission fluid flush and at what mileage is it recommended to do so?

Thanks

I be very carefull taking my G35 to any place called "Mr. Lube!" All you need at 30K miles was all fluids drain/refill. Like Spinna mentioned, have Nissan do your service their cost w/b 40% less than Infiniti and 100% more reliabe than Misssster. Lube....

Actually, Infiniti recommends it at 60k and at a 60k interval.

Actually Infiniti does not specify and interval and claims its a Sealed unit. They list the only reason to change the fluid is if you go off roading or tow.

But I did mine at 39k it was still red, you can do it 30-50k. Depends on you really.

i thought it was 100k?
I did mine on 100k. 35k seems WAY too early.

Flush/Refill don't be confused between the two!

There's a vast difference between a AT Flush and Drain/Refill! Nissan recommends drain/refill every 30K miles which is about half the cost of flushing your AT due to the amount of fluid/time required.

Rull of thumb with our transmissions: Drain and fill is fine but stay clear of any kind of transmission flush.

I was on www.maxima.org back in the day and transmission flush on auto trannys was determined to be bad, bad, bad. It's not only costly at the dealer but can ruin your seals and other internal parts.
I had my mechanic swap out my fluids on my manual G at 30K.
I also own a 2K SE Maxima and have religiously had my transmissions fluid drained and filled every 30K. The car is at 251K and not a single tranny problem. Now the engine, that's an entirely different story.

+1...i'd always been told by more-qualified folk that u drain & refill at the manufacturer's suggested interval, and u flush ONLY when there's a problem!

I changed my transmission and differential after like 20k miles. I had 5th gear grind thats why I changed it. No gear grinding now. Also shifting is like twice as smooth as before and I love it! I used Amsoil instead though. You don't really need to take it to no Mr.lube just do it yourself it's very easy.
