g35coupe vs. supraTT poll
Re: g35coupe vs. supraTT poll
I thought about the supra also before getting the G. My criteria was a little on the stringent side such as having a clean slate to work with (no mods besides wheels or the like) and less than 30K miles.
There were a few but they all wanted ~$40K. In the end, I couldn't get myself to pay that kind of $ for an 7 year old car even if it was a garage queen/weekend ride.
I had a bud a few years back that was slightly modded but putting out about 450 to the wheels, which is tame by some standards. It was a monster to me as I had never been in a car even close to 300 hp at the time.
It is very tempting to be able to invest a few K and get exotic levels of power.

I like the Supra, but it is IMO still just another used car- although "Ledgendary"- I would rather have something new that still performs well. But if I had money to burn, I would get a Supra and a G..

Re: g35coupe vs. supraTT poll
Supra TT for sure...This shouldn't even have to be a question...Does anybody realize how rare it is to find one of these gems in good condition with low mileage...I love my "G" and wouldn't have bought any other NEW car in its price range, but if I had the chance to jump on a Supra TT I would have done so....Look at it this way, the remaining Supra's are only getting older each year, jump on one now...You can always buy a brand new G in a couple of years if you'd like...In my area I see about 5-10 G's a day...How often do you see a Supra TT come rolling down the street with that blow off valve, makin sweet music in your ears? Thats it you convinced me I'm shoppin for a TT later this afternoon..lol

supra twin turbo for shure, it has a proven motor and is more rare of a site than a G35.

No question......If you can buy it for the right price, buy the Supra. All the nice ones are getting crashed and ragged out. They are appreciating in value.
If you don't buy it, let me know and I will if the price is right!

Supra without thinking twice about it. Strap a T70-T76 turbo with the supporting mods in there and u will have alot of fun with it. Good luck.

Re: g35coupe vs. supraTT poll
I'm sorry, I'd be more impressed with a twin turbo G35 than a Supra TT, although Supra's are rare on the street how common are they on the tuner scene? Almost everyone knows someone with a Supra.
Now how many know someone with a twin turbo G35? Get the G and do it right the first time..forget the bolt ons and go directly for an engine build up. By the time you will have replaced the exhaust, cats, plenum, and everything else you'd almost break even.
