There's an easy solution, have the service manager write on your paperwork not to have it washed. I always do and it pisses the wash monkey off....LOL

The cost of buying what you need to do the job might cost what a detail job would but you only pay once! www.griotsgarage.com check this guy out, his kit comes with everything you'll ever need to do a perfect job. Included is a vid so you can't make a mistake. His clay/cleaner and buffer are the best I've ever used....

It IS written on the paperwork!!! thats whats aggrevating, but i can always tell they washed it because it goes to the dealer super dirty and comes out clean (but with more and more swirls) i just dont think they listen or pay attention very well.

I would do two things in this case, take your car in clean so they know you care about your car and get in the service managers face and ask him, "who's in charge of this dealership you or your wash monkey?" There's a third and my favorite, take your G to Nissan or a independent shop for service only go to Infiniti for warranty work....nothing else!

everything
Wash mine atleast once a week... sometimes twice. Looks better than a showroom car at all times.

No one touches my vehicles whether its to clean them, mod them, or fix them. Its all me, from a simple car wash to engine swaps, I do it all myself.

Especially washing them, people do nothing but scratch the sh*t out of the paint.

everything
quite a bit.

I used to be sponsored by Meguiars when I had my showcar so I got a boatload of free stuff.

I buy new microfiber towels every 3 months. I go thru tire gloss and interior wipes pretty fast. I have certain towels to clean certain things, always wiping the car from the top down, using only clean towels to wipe the paint. I wash my microfiber towels in the washing machine more than I wash my clothes. I have a huge rack of all Meguiars products. Part of it is having a black car, they get dirty fast.

The initial cost of my cleaning supplies was < $200. They easily last a year. Whereas, a professional will charge you $200 for each visit.

I take mine once a year after winter to get professionally detailed and the rest of the time I do it myself.

Still might not solve his problem. My wife had an Altima and they always gave a free wash when you brought the car in. You could even stop by without getting a service and they'd wash it for you for free. Not sure if that's every Nissan dealer's policy or not.

keeping in mind that I clean my car EVERY day, I would not be able to afford to pay somebody to clean my car.
