The main reason I told you not to get a avic-d1/d2 is it's to old...I don't think the newest map updates even work on the d2. If they do I guess go ahead and get it. But, the install price for these cars usually average around 150-200 because of all the disassembly and reassembly of the dash.
With a little bit of searching though you would know all of this...I saved a ton of money by going to an audio shop of a guy im good friends with and doing all the disassembly and reassembly of the dash and he just did the wiring harness for 30 dollars. I will admit though taking the radio out of an 04 is a royal PITA.
