Window still does this after replacing motor *VIDEO*

Ok I now the motor was bad because now at least it goes up and down and a lot faster then the passenger I might add.

It was doing this before the motor was replaced, it was the first problem I had with the window. I did the reset after the install, but any time I use Auto-Up it does this, OR if it is all the way up and I pull switch up, AND when I use the key in the door.

It also doesn't respond when opening and closing the door (flush when door closed)

Am I facing a switch problem now?

Any ideas?

thx!

you need to lubricate your window rails or find out whatever is causing resistant to the window closing motion ( or could be window module is bad). that is a safety feature that in case some idiot put their hand or head there and closing the window at same time.

Doesnt it matter if the door is closed or not?

If the window is fully up with the door open, and then u close the door, won't it damage the rubber sealing around the frame?

Same thing happened to me. I guess there was a switch or something that was broken on my car. They replaced the whole motor and switch and everything was good again.

You either need to reset the motor or the motor is a defect.I had the exact same thing happen and got another motor under warranty.

i had the exact same problem even after replacing my window motor. you just gotta follow the steps really careful on resetting the window motor and make sure you push reset button on the motor very hard. i had to end up using a screwdriver to make sure it was pushed in all the way and then it worked fine. it could feel like you pushed it in but it's not untill it goes all the way in and push from dead center... hope that helps and you should be fine
