The 2JZ motor is superior to the RB26 in a few ways.

I think it's badazz. Looks like they have their share of aholes over there as well. Dude posted this:

Quote: HEYYYYY THE MOST RELIABLE G35 out there. THEHE. :-)
how many G and Z guys have bashed your ***** so far? i can already hear them crying.

So I had to join and post this:

Quote: Actually we're drooling, not crying. Sorry to have to say this in my first post but seriously man, grow up.

No need to be an azz and bash just to bash.

Some people.

Quote: Props for doing it, but why?

When you can do a G37 or even a Titan motor?
lmfao. are you serious? do you know what 2jz is capable of? This thing will fly by g35 with a 3.7 or titan motor.

Yes, but it's still a Toyota motor in a Nissan.

I mean, if someone here were to see to VQ motor in a civic, everyone would be screaming rice.

Would much rather a 1.5jz IMO but props. The jz series is a beautiful engine. Not a big fan of the RB

If the swap is done for a purpose, and that goal is reached, then there is no harm in mixing parts from different OEM's. Brand loyalty is admirable, but if one is happier with another brand's product, why criticize them?

Lotuses have Toyota engines in them. Is that so horrible?
Lambo's have VW engines
etc.

I think it's sick as fvck, the 2JZ is one of the greatest motors ever built. Check out Youtube, there are guys doing 2JZ swaps in old school Cameros and ****. Thats freaking awesome. Congrats to the cat that built the 2JZ G.

HAHAHA....not bad, this reminds me of my buddy that put a whole Chrysler built 440 and drivetrain in an old '50s Chevy. Ran it at the Chrysler nationals and won his class....drove the Chrysler die hards nuckingfuts.

well everyone remembers the ford mustang with the SR20 swap from Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift

I love mixed parts. takes a lot of time, blood, sweat and tears to do such a cool and unique thing.

Another example is the monster miatas that have 5.0 ford motors or the ls1 swoop in it.
LOTS of power, very tiny car = FAST and fun
