I think Carribean blue was only available in 03, correct me if I'm wrong...

Private party. Owner only drove it on the weekends. He ended up buying a 2011 M3... b@stard.

But just to re-state what everyone else has already said and what I said, I would definitely not buy that car for that price.

I talked them down to 12k but with taxes and fees being 2k it comes out to 14

Color is Lakeshore Slate. And if you can't afford to get a car with decent mileage, just wait until you can. Remember: Buying used is buying someone else's problems. And at 100k there should be at least a few.

when i see 05 's compared to 06's i tend to see the 06 being considerably higher priced. i understand its a year newer but does that really make that much of a difference?

my 06 in feb was 20k before shipping at the dealership, and had 34k on the clock, was listed at 24,998 and talked down substancially

Wow! I have an '03 G35 6MT Caribbean Blue. Bought it January of '03 and I just barely turned over 100k miles. I thought I did a lot of driving. I would not go for that car unless they can get you out the door at $12k. There's a lot of work that can be done to get them down to a reasonable price if you're willing to take the time.
